BIS VISUAL ARTS EXHIBITION

2018-2019: Self-defined
This year at Bali Island School, we have five seniors who will create an art experience.  The work in the exhibition is diverse in the themes and subject explored as well as in the range of artistic methods and media that the students have investigated and employed, from traditional still life drawing and figurative painting through to Manga illustration, photography and Digital Animation. There is however a common thread that connects these individual students' work as a whole, hence the title of the exhibition "Self Defined”. The use of self-portraiture to develop and extend individual work and themes has been used by each one of these students throughout their IB artistic Journey.
